More than two years since the coronavirus emergency declaration was enacted, our understanding of the virus has changed. Some mitigation tactics worked, while others didn’t.

There is no better example of this than masking. While the average mask provides minimal, if any, protection from the virus, it’s also shown to create real consequences, especially for children.

The pandemic is over. Mask mandates must be, too.
