Idaho’s public universities are pushing the anti-American ideology of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and legislators aren’t doing anything to stop it.
Idaho’s universities waste more than $4.5 million a year on 57 DEI administrators. These ideologues steer universities away from their core mission. The ideas behind DEI emphasize that American society is irredeemably racist or sexist, group identity must transcend individuality, and equity must be celebrated while meritocracy stigmatized.
When Legislators asked university Presidents directly about this, they pretended discriminatory DEI practices were “necessary” to their institutions.
This problem affects everyone as woke ideology on college campuses is increasingly inculcating the rest of society.
The Legislature should once again awaken to fight the woke and stop the spread of this poisonous ideology. A wide-awake Legislature would demand a thorough and fair accounting of all DEI initiatives and administrative positions at public universities and cut off the ideological rot devouring our institutions.
