Senate Pro Tem Chuck Winder is attacking the freedom of speech of two conservative state senators merely because they’re speaking out against Idaho’s leftist policies maintained by special interests.
Winder is using his power to bully them. He took away Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld’s position as vice chairman of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee, he removed Brian Lenny as vice chairman of the Senate Commerce and Human Resource committee, and he’s told Sen. Scott Herndon he may be removed from the Legislature’s budget committee.
Winder’s conduct is unbecoming of a state senator and violates First Amendment freedoms.
Email Chuck Winder and tell him to apologize for his behavior, and thank Zuiderveld, Herndon and Lenny for sticking up for conservative principles.
